Course Description
This course offers theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in problem-solving processes/tools. After completing this course, students will be competent to appear for lean six sigma green belt certification. The course includes but not limited to a lean six sigma overview with DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) process, Pareto charts, 5S, SIPOC, and design of experiments. An advanced DMAIC concept is also introduced briefly from the black belt certification. Knowledge about probability & statistics is a prerequisite to enroll in this class.
