Course Description
In this course, students integrate science and skills in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing assessment address physiological adaptations, health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan to promote person-centered care that focuses on the individual within multiple complex contexts. The course helps the practicing nurse advance professional practice skills and develop increased ability in problem solving and clinical reasoning.
