Course Description
This course focuses on the role as a leader in complex healthcare organizations. The student examines theories and processes for conflict resolution, negotiation skills, operations management, and strategic planning across the continuum of care in healthcare organizations. Topics of study include informatics, legal issues, organizational management, and healthcare economics. The student will be prepared as a leader of change in healthcare systems to improve population health outcomes.
